Experimenting with chalk pastels during a trip to Canada, Loughlin began using a commercially produced and widely used shellac called BIN which doesn’t dull colors as other fixatives do. Pastac is a method combining chalk pastels, commerical painter's tints, and BIN shellac to create fresco-like works of art. Pastac paintings are a joy to master, easily applied to almost any surface, a cinch to repair or correct, and highly addictive. Give Wink Art & Design a call to organize a group lesson for your next company event, social gathering, or weekly creative time. Brendan Loughlin will show you how to complete a painting in one session, and give you the know-how to take the Pastac revolution home with you. 203.404.3122 |
